New Business
Discussion Angel tree. The Club sponsors 1 boy and 1 girl each Christmas. Two Angel Tree cards were presented to the the membership for volunteers to shop for the gifts. Bob and Brenda agreed to shop for the gifts.
Discussion Charles Solomon presented an update on the VE license testing Stating that he has the testing material but suggested holding till after the first of the year to begin the process. Sonya asked about the expiration of the Technician class License Study book and how long the current issue is good for. Charles stated Technician Class was good till July of 2010. Extra Class good till 2012, General Class good till 2014.
Discussion: Bob opened discussion of the proposed Club Christmas Parade Float. After some discussion it was decided by vote to postpone the plan until next year.
Club Shirts: Ed Shelby took orders for club shirts to be paid for when delivered, possibly at the next Club meeting.
Nursing home: Brenda talked with Ardmore nursing Home about a possible time the club could visit and pass out gifts. This will be December 12th at 9:30 AM. Marjorie Wiseman stated that some of her students live near the home and may stop by to help.
